The Land
Between 6,000 and 8,000 acres are available for pheasant hunting each year,
and more can be found if needed. The land is made up of CRP, corn fields,
shelterbelts, and sloughs and grasses.
The Lodge
Our hunting lodge sleeps 19. It has two bathrooms,
a pool table and a bar for after the hunt. Towels and linens
are furnished. Birds are cleaned and frozen for the trip home. All birds
shot in your group will be taken by your group. Birds can be left to
mount by a local taxidermist for a fee.
The Hunt
Hunts are limited to 8 - 14 hunters, all from your group.
Transportation is furnished during the hunt.
Breakfast is coffee and large sticky buns. Lunch is field-made
sandwiches (ham, beef or turkey), chips and cookies. Soda pop and
candy bars are available at all times on the bus. Licenses and
shells are available on location. Dinner is at your expense.
Fine restaurants in the area are very reasonable.
SAFETY GLASSES AND ORANGE CAPS ARE REQUIRED.
A safety meeting and orientation meeting will be held on the first
morning. A liability waiver must be signed. Safe hunting practices
are enforced at all times.
Previous hunters have the first right of refusal for the same slot
the following year. Guides and dogs are furnished with each group.
Limit is 3 roosters per day per person, not including the guides.

Kennels are furnished if you bring your own well-trained dog. If your
dog can't be controlled, it will be kenneled so as not to ruin the hunt
for the rest of the group.
The Fees
