The Land
Between 6,000 and 8,000 acres are available for pheasant hunting each year, and more can be found if needed. The land is made up of CRP, corn fields, shelterbelts, and sloughs and grasses.

The Lodge
Our hunting lodge sleeps 19. It has two bathrooms, a pool table and a bar for after the hunt. Towels and linens are furnished. Birds are cleaned and frozen for the trip home. All birds shot in your group will be taken by your group. Birds can be left to mount by a local taxidermist for a fee.

The Hunt
Hunts are limited to 8 - 14 hunters, all from your group. Transportation is furnished during the hunt. Breakfast is coffee and large sticky buns. Lunch is field-made sandwiches (ham, beef or turkey), chips and cookies. Soda pop and candy bars are available at all times on the bus. Licenses and shells are available on location. Dinner is at your expense. Fine restaurants in the area are very reasonable.

SAFETY GLASSES AND ORANGE CAPS ARE REQUIRED. A safety meeting and orientation meeting will be held on the first morning. A liability waiver must be signed. Safe hunting practices are enforced at all times.

Previous hunters have the first right of refusal for the same slot the following year. Guides and dogs are furnished with each group.

Limit is 3 roosters per day per person, not including the guides. More information about the South Dakota pheasant hunting season can be found at the South Dakota Department of Game, Fish and Parks website.

Kennels are furnished if you bring your own well-trained dog. If your dog can't be controlled, it will be kenneled so as not to ruin the hunt for the rest of the group.

The Fees
Contact us for pricing information. You must have a group of 8 or more to qualify. References are available upon request.

We still have slots open for the 2003 pheasant hunting season!
